The program has been designed to prepare players for upcoming U14 POE provincial camps as well as upcoming Bantam Major spring ID camps. To insure intensive and effective training, enrollment for this camp will be limited. Qualified players will be accepted on a first come first served basis. This camp’s curriculum will focus on teaching, training and developing players to apply and adapt their core skills for effective introduction to body contact including tactical corner skills and puck protection. Work on individual skills will also be incorporated in the station training component of the camp. The camp will feature a unique curriculum that is based on a building block training method that is comprised of full ice circuit training and small area games sessions. To assist with effective teaching of full body contact the program will have a classroom session as well as video review.
On-Ice Training- Total of 6 hours
Note: Players attending CONTACT & BATTLE CAMP will be eligible to be selected for our ATLANTIC SELECTS team which has been granted the exclusive right to represent this region at the prestigious TRIPLE CROWN event to take place in Montreal
This 4 week program will feature 3 hours of on-ice & off-ice training each week. Sessions will take place during weekday mornings.

On-Ice Training – Total of 15 hours
All sessions will be led by Jon Sim along with a highly experienced team of instructors. The program is designed to improve individual skills and to prepare the student for the upcoming hockey season. A mixture of battling, conditioning, puck-handling, as well as small area games will be the focus of the on-ice curriculum.
Off-Ice Training – Total 15 hours
All sessions will be led by Jon Sim and highly qualified trainers. They have developed a program that will touch on components such as shooting techniques, slide boards stride sessions, stickhandling drills, off-ice conditioning as well as yoga sessions.
Note: students will be provided with the option of taking part in on-ice training program only at a reduced fee. To receive maximum benefits Jon Sim Hockey encourages all students to take part in the on as well as off-ice training sessions.
On-ice: 7.5 hours / Off-ice 5hrs – Bantam / Midget / Junior
The Goal of the program is to prepare players for their upcoming tryouts as well as hockey season. The Conditioning Camp will feature a total of 7.5 hours of on-ice training with each session featuring training in individual skills as well as team play. In order to properly prepare the players for the upcoming hockey season, camp will also include 5 hours on off-ice training.
On-ice: 7.5 hours – Initiation / Novice /Atom / Peewee
The program is designed to improve individual skills and to prepare the student for the upcoming hockey season.
SESSIONS FOCUS ON:
PUCK CONTROL: Stickhandling, passing, shooting, puck protection, deking and one-on-one play
GAME SIMULATION: 3VS3 mini games as well as Battle drills.
On-ice: 15 hours / Off-ice: 15 hours – Novice /Atom / Peewee / Bantam Players
Specialized training for all levels
This full day camp will include 2 daily on-ice sessions as well as 2 off-ice sessions per day.
The program is designed to improve individual skills featuring a mixture of battling, conditioning skating, puckhandling as well as small area games.
The off-ice program will touch on components such as shooting techniques, stickhandling drills, as well as off-ice conditioning.
