JARO SEVCIK
Jaro was born in the Czech Republic and grew up playing alongside many future Czech NHL players. His career included a silver medal with the Czech Junior Team at the 1985 World Junior Championships, followed by time in the NHL, AHL, and 10 seasons with top European clubs in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. After retiring, he spent seven seasons as an Assistant Coach with the Dalhousie University men's hockey team. In addition to Perfect Edge, Jaro owns Future Pros Hockey School and runs private power skating and skills clinics throughout HRM. He also coached with Chebucto Minor Hockey for eight seasons and holds Advanced Level 1 coaching certification.
RAMONA ANDREEA VOICU
Professional figure skating coach and former competitive athlete with extensive national and international experience. Throughout her distinguished skating career, Ramona competed in 38 international and 20 national figure skating competitions, earning 32 medals, including 15 gold, 13 silver, and 4 bronze. Now focused on coaching, Ramona is pursuing certifications in CanSkate, Regional Figure Skating, and Power Skating. She is passionate about helping athletes of all ages and skill levels develop strong skating fundamentals and reach their full potential on the ice. Session Focus: Proper skating technique with an emphasis on generating power and speed through efficient stride mechanics. Athletes will work on acceleration, balance, edge control, agility, skating efficiency, and overall skating performance to become stronger and faster skaters.
LUKE GREEN
Former NHL-drafted defenseman, Luke Green brings elite playing and development experience to the Perfect Edge Powerskating program as well as to the Atlantic Hockey Group. He was selected 1st overall in the 2014 QMJHL Entry Draft by the Saint John Sea Dogs and later drafted in the third round (79th overall) by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. His professional career has included time in the NHL system, AHL, and top European leagues in Sweden, Slovakia, Germany, and Finland. An AHG alumnus who previously played with the Nova Scotia Raiders and Selects, Luke now serves as Director of HRM Operations, leading programming and player development initiatives across the Halifax region.
