Atlantic Hockey Group Expands Spring Hockey Program to Dalhousie, NB
October 20th 2026 | MONCTON, NB – The Atlantic Hockey Group (AHG) is pleased to announce the expansion of its spring hockey program to Dalhousie, New Brunswick, beginning in April 2027.
This expansion will provide additional opportunities for young hockey players throughout the region to participate in AHG’s popular spring hockey programs.
AHG offers male and female players of various ages and skill levels the opportunity to develop and compete through its Elite, AAA and Prospects Series programs. The addition of Dalhousie will help accommodate the continued growth of spring hockey in northern New Brunswick.
“We’re excited to expand our presence in the Dalhousie region and provide more opportunities for local players and families,” said Charlie Bourgeois, President of the Atlantic Hockey Group. “Our goal has always been to make quality hockey programming accessible to as many communities as possible, and Dalhousie is a great addition to our spring hockey network.”
Charles Austin, AHG’s Chaleur/Restigouche Coordinator, is equally enthusiastic about the expansion.
“We’ve seen tremendous interest in spring hockey throughout the region over the past several years,” said Austin. “Adding Dalhousie will allow us to better serve our players and families while continuing to grow the program across northern New Brunswick.”
Founded in 1989, the Atlantic Hockey Group works with over 10,000 players annually through its spring hockey leagues, tournaments and development programs across Atlantic Canada.
