ATLANTIC HOCKEY GROUP NAMES ANDRE LEFEBVRE DIRECTOR OF HRM OPERATIONS

HALIFAX, NS – September 10th, 2026 – The Atlantic Hockey Group (AHG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andre Lefebvre as Director of HRM Operations.

Lefebvre brings more than 20 years of coaching, player development and hockey leadership experience to the position and is well known throughout the Nova Scotia hockey community.

He most recently served as a Hockey Development Professional with Bedford Minor Hockey and most recently served as Head Coach of the Halifax Wolverines Major U15 program.

Throughout his coaching career, Lefebvre has worked at a number of levels of the game, including as a skills coach with the Dalhousie Tigers Men’s Hockey program, with the Cole Harbour Wolfpack Major U18 program and with the Saint Mary’s Huskies in Atlantic University Sport. He was named the Nova Scotia Major U18 Hockey League Coach of the Year for the 2018-19 season.

Lefebvre has also been involved at the provincial and national levels, including Hockey Canada’s 2017 National U17 Program Selection Camp and Hockey Nova Scotia’s High Performance Program. His hockey background also includes serving as a Player Development Assistant and Atlantic Scout with the Charlottetown Islanders as well as the Director of Development for the NSU18 Major Hockey league.

Just as importantly, he understands the hockey community in HRM and has built strong relationships with players, coaches and associations throughout the region. We think he will be a great fit for AHG and an important part of our continued growth in HRM.”

In his new role, Lefebvre will oversee AHG programming and operations throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality, while helping lead the continued development and expansion of AHG leagues, camps, tournaments and development programs in the region.

“I’m very excited for the opportunity to join the Atlantic Hockey Group and help build on the programs they have established throughout HRM and Atlantic Canada,” said Lefebvre. “I’ve spent a large part of my coaching career working with players and families throughout Nova Scotia, and I’m looking forward to bringing that experience to AHG. There is a great opportunity to continue growing the game and providing quality hockey experiences for players of all ages and levels.”
