The Jon Sim Tournament is back for another exciting year in Halifax!

We’ve had an incredible time since the tournament first began and can’t wait to welcome teams back for this year’s event. The tournament has sold out for the past several years — and we’re thrilled to see the continued enthusiasm and support from teams across the region.

About the Tournament

The 2025 Jon Sim 2-Line Tournament will feature male AAA divisions for 2019-2013 birth years. Please note female teams will be able to participate in the Atlantic 2Line Challenge in Moncton, NB. The event for each division will last a total of two days. In order to provide a great hockey experience teams will be placed in divisions based on skill and compete level.

Tournament Features

- Teams will be comprised of 10 skaters and 1 goaltender- Divisions may be tiered based on skill/compete level.- All teams will be guaranteed at least 4 games- Certified officials- Live stats- Player of the game awards- Winning teams for each division will also get prizes.

Uniforms

Fee includes team uniforms (jersey and socks).

Rinks

The majority of games will be held at the Greenfoot Energy Centre and RBC Centre, with some additional games being held at other nearby facilities.

Cost

The cost per team will be $1720.86 + HST = $1979. We only require a $200 deposit now to save your spot.
