AHG Announces Partnership with Champions Hockey / Prospects Hockey for 2026 Montreal Meltdown
MONCTON, NB — October 29th, 2025 — The Atlantic Hockey Group (AHG) is proud to announce a new partnership with Champions Hockey / Prospects Hockey regarding participation in the prestigious Montreal Meltdown Tournament.
Through this agreement, AHG has secured exclusive Atlantic Canadian rights for the AAA Division 2 categories of the Meltdown event. This collaboration provides an exciting opportunity for Atlantic Canadian players to represent their region at one of the largest and most competitive spring hockey tournaments in the country.
AHG is now assembling teams for the 2026 Montreal Meltdown, with the following event dates:

May 15–17, 2026 — AAA 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, and 2012 divisions

June 5–7, 2026 — AAA 2017 division

There will also be opportunities at the 2018 and 2019 levels.
Importantly, these dates will not conflict with any existing Atlantic Hockey Group spring events, ensuring that players can participate in both AHG’s regional programs and this premier tournament experience.
