Program Philosophy
Trailblazer Staff are dedicated to providing a professionally structured training environment to help your child develop. Our team of instructors are very experienced and have been selected on the basis of their hockey qualifications and of their ability to communicate with and instruct young hockey players. To ensure intensive and effective training, enrollment is limited.

Danielle Alexander
Born and raised in Moncton, where she played all her minor hockey, Danielle enjoyed a great hockey career that took her to US prep school, where she played three seasons for the Kents Hill School Huskies. In her senior year she captained the team and led the team in points. After graduating Danielle played with the Mount Allison Mounties in the AUS. Danielle has been involved in coaching for over a decade and has a passion for developing female hockey players.

On-Ice: 12 hours (12 x 1 hour sessions)
The Mini Trailblazers program is designed to improve overall fundamental skills as well as introduce basic team concepts. To insure intensive and effective training, enrolment will be limited. A ratio of 6 students to one qualified instructor will assure effective training. Coaches will include Trailblazer staff.

On-Ice: 12.5 hours / Off-Ice: 10 hours
Join Trailblazer Hockey from July 6th to 10th at the Greenfoot Energy 4Plex for a full week of on-ice and off-ice development. On-Ice sessions will be run by head of Trailblazer Hockey Danielle Alexander along with other qualified instructors. The camp will be open to Female Players in U9, U11, U13, and U15. Sessions will focus on stickhandling and goal scoring as well as game situations and defence/forward specific drills. There will also be an off-ice session led by a quality instructor.

mid-July/August weeknights
The program is designed to work on fundamental skills in a positive atmosphere. The program will be held on weeknights starting in mid July and going through most of August.
Individual skill training

This half-day camp features a unique curriculum built around full-ice circuit training and small-area games. Each day includes a 75-minute skills session focused on teaching, training, and developing players’ ability to apply and adapt core skills— skating, puck handling and protection, battle drills, passing, and shooting—to real game situations. Students will also participate in a daily 60-minute scrimmage.
